I'm here to sit with you in your grief, so that you feel less suffocated as you explore all that you are holding. I'm here to make sure you are not suffering in silence and support you in reexamining internal narratives that better align with healing.

ABOUT

ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

I bring 10 years of clinical experience working with adults, young adults, and adolescents facing a range of mental health issues and wellness concerns. I earned my Master of Social Work degree with an emphasis in Trauma & Interpersonal Violence at Simmons College and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Boston University.

I started my career working in schools and then shifted into the world of hospitals. In the hospital setting, I provided clinical interventions and ongoing support to:

  • women and their partners experiencing complicated pregnancies, birth trauma, fertility concerns, and loss

  • parents with babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)

  • those experiencing cancer and their loved ones

  • children/adolescents and their families facing chronic and acute medical challenges, including liver transplant

Through working in these environments, I have a deep understanding of the world of grief, loss, and complex trauma. My personal and professional experience informs the work I do.

Fun Facts:

  • Relentless positivity is not the antidote to grief.

  • I love dim sum!

MY APPROACH

In the realm of therapy, healing combines art and science. It's a unique journey for each individual, and I am here to guide you through the intricate landscapes of your inner world. I believe that by finding the courage to tune in, make connections, and discover patterns in your life, we can create a path towards healing and growth. The path to healing is as individual as your own fingerprints. My work with clients always includes honoring all parts of who you are and how you identify. Central to my approach is the recognition that each individual's cultural identity and intersectionality are vital aspects of their lived experience. I employ a tailored blend of evidence-based therapies (DBT & ACT), narrative work, and somatic-oriented therapy, to help inform your healing. We'll explore patterns and the stories they tell. Whether you're navigating the complexities of trauma, grief, or any other life challenge, I provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore, heal, and grow.
