What are your fees and do you accept insurance?

Accepted Answer

My fee is $180 for a 50-minute session for private pay clients. Through a platform called Alma, I take Aetna, Optum/United Healthcare & Carelon insurance. Do you provide in-person support?

At this time, I only provide therapy via telehealth. If you are seeking an in-person mental health professional, I am happy to provide you with referrals.

Question 3

How often and how long should I meet with you?

Accepted Answer

The length of therapy and the therapeutic relationship is dependent on your goals. It's okay to not know the answer to this at the beginning of therapy. We will work together to assess what is best for you. I do require that clients commit to weekly sessions initially so that we can build a strong therapeutic relationship and familiarity with the process.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please contact me via email or phone if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. I require at least 24 hours advanced notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time will be charged my full private pay rate for the session.

Since life happens and sometimes we need to reschedule, I will do my best to work with you to reschedule you for the same week. If I can accommodate this, I will not charge you the cancellation fee.

What should I do if I'm in crisis?

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. There is no shame in asking for help if you are in crisis and you deserve support. The following are resources that may also be helpful if you need immediate support:
