How much will I be spending?

On this page, you can find information about various payment options. When you schedule your first session, we will discuss your specific fee responsibilities, insurance coverage, and payment methods.

Out-of-Network

My fee is $165 per 50-minute session. If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Your initial 20-minute phone consultation is free.

Insurance

Grow Therapy and Alma are online directory platforms that also make therapy more affordable by supporting clinicians in taking insurance. Please take a look at my profile linked below for a full list of all insurance plans I take through Alma. Through Alma, I am contracted with Optum, Aetna, United Healthcare, and Cigna.  Through Grow Therapy, I am contracted with Kaiser and Carelon. If you have any of the plans mentioned or would like to see a full list, feel free to book a consultation with me on their website.

Sliding Scale

I provide limited sliding scale fee availability. This is determined when someone might be eligible for a slightly reduced fee based on their income and financial situation. This can be further discussed during a consultation. I am always happy to provide referrals to clinics and practitioners that provide services affordable to you.

Good Faith Estimate

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

  • Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

  • You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
